Looking at Building

I looked at both churches and building from Gran Canaria and in England, I wanted to draw some designs that I liked because I found some of the textures and patterns amazing designed into the rock of the buildings. I also watched the film lord of the rings and found that their setting were incredeiables, the way they have created an enchanted world full of texture, perspective, colour, creatures and buildings inspired my work by wanting to have our building more enchanted since we have developed a gargoyle as our main character. Also the magical colours make the movie enchanted so I would like the outside and inside quite colourful and broken down to add the affect of being old and magical.

Holiday to Gran Canaria

When my group went on a vist to Barcelona, I went on holiday to Gran Canaria where I took images and sketches of the island.
I found this post card in a local shop, which shows an image of what the mountains look like of a night time, i though it could be a great back ground image for our environment.

Research On Gargoyles

I started looking at different types of gargoyles and where you'll be able to locate them. My group has chosen to design a gargoyle for our main character and because of this it helped me in developing an idea of its environment.
