I used these marble designs for the wardrobe and dressing table, I did try all of these but when I had to bump the textures it made the furniture look like I was designing it for the stone age so I picked the less textured design but it did work perfect.

I used these textures for most of my design. I used most of the flat wood pictures for the textures, with theses wooden textures I applied them to the four poster bed, rocking chair, inside the mirror and inside the
wardrobe.

I looked at only these two pillows only because when looking at the beds I had images of the pillows on the images below, but I mainly was looking at these two for the main textures. I used the red pillow in the end because the texture worked well with the cover and design on the pillow gave it that extra style.

This was the fabric I chose, since I tried to use a few of them and they either didn't match up with the rest of the furniture or the texture didn't come up well when I used the bump tool. The fabric I did use at the end was the picture on the side. The texture looked real it gave the room an old royal feel to it.

Maya8 Princess

I had to make another character for our project, Because the story is about the gargoyle finding itself in the princess bedroom because her soul is in the creature. I had to design her so that she was a corps in her rocking chair awaiting her prince to come and find her. I found this a challenge since I found modelling characters a bit hard, but after modelling my funiture in Maya and I starting using more of the tool bars, it helped me to develop my character with no problems and made me more confident in Maya. I found that I really enjoy modelling and want to have a job in it in the near future. Below shows the image of the princess I have just modeled in Maya8 in her rocking chair as she will be since though the enviroment project.
